The Board of Directors was unanimously approved by the General Meeting for the past fiscal year. In the regular elections, Jürgen Timm was confirmed in his position as chairman of the association. Chairman of the Board
As the Chairman of the Board, Jürgen Timm manages the activities and projects of the HIGH END SOCIETY. The well-connected marketing expert has extensive experience in the industry thanks to his many years working as the PR & Product Manager Europe at Pioneer & Onkyo Europe GmbH and is responsible for the coordination of marketing activities for the Japanese high-end producer Technical Audio Devices Labs (TAD).
Member of the Board
With great skills in creativity and as an expert in thinking out of the box, Dieter Amann supports the association in its work and often provides new ideas and inspiration. In his main profession, he manages the company In-Akustik, which has established itself as one of the market leaders in the field of cable production in recent years. The company is part of the Braun Group, members of which include the cable specialist braunkabel, the model railway manufacturer BRAWA and Eagle Cable.
Despite his demanding profession, Mansour Mamaghani still finds enough time to put his heart and soul into the work of the Board, especially the volume magazine. He is the Managing Director of the family company Audio Reference, which is based in Hamburg, Germany. Over the past few years, the company has grown continuously and is now one of the largest distributors of high-end audio products in Germany.
Assistant to the Executive Board
As the Assistant to the Board, Martina Laubert works at the HIGH END SOCIETY office in the German city of Wuppertal, where she deals with all of the association’s administrative and organizational tasks. She has been a member of the team and a contact for our members since January 2020. Her work is supported by her many years of experience as a secretary to international management boards.
Member of the Board & Honorary Chairman
Kurt Hecker is now increasingly enjoying his well-earned retirement. As a founding member of HIGH END SOCIETY e.V., he has a close relationship with both the association and the industry as a whole. He maintains cooperation with corporately affiliated associations, such as the ZVEI.
The association is comprised of “full members”. All of its members express solidarity with the objectives of the association and actively work to promote and support its tasks and activities. Membership is only available to legal entities. To become a member of the association, candidates must submit a written application to the Board. Decisions on membership applications are made at meetings attended by full members. An Annual General Meeting is held at least once a year. In addition, the Board invites members to extraordinary general meetings on relevant topics as and when required.
The Board and six elected members form the Committee of the HIGH END SOCIETY e.V. The Committee approves and develops projects and discusses recent developments and new trends in the industry. Its members meet in person four times a year, mostly at the HIGH END SOCIETY office in Wuppertal.
